I'm asking if you wouldn't mind adding this to your blogs as well.

FIREWORKS GALORE

As promised I'm back with my report on the fireworks.....first let me tell you a little about our dog, Nika....she's a 12 year old German Shepherd who is scared to death of fireworks and thunderstorms...hmmm, guess you know where I'm going with this. Anyway, on the 4th of July we gave her a half of a doggie tranquilizer that our vet had given us for her....she remained calm and we even were able to take her outside while the fireworks from our street were going on...they were very nice, but nothing specatular or loud..so the on the 4th all was well....on the 5th of July was another entirely different story. We went up to my son and daughter in laws home as they were having a gathering for family and friends and setting off fireworks as well as our towns fireworks. Did we give Nika a tranquilizer? No, we thought she'd be ok ...... we weren't going to be that long, plus we kept the air conditioner on and the fans going and figured she wouldn't hear the outside noise that much...... The fireworks were spectacular, my son really outdid himself...and they lasted and lasted and we stayed much longer than we anticipated...

When we came in the door we noticed things knocked off the end table, but no big deal.... cleaned it up then we went to bed!!!!! Thats when things got a little messy....apparently Nika needed her "PaPa" and layed on his side of the bed (she had neva gotten on the bed before to our knowledge) and PEED, and PEED, and PEED!!!!!!! Needless to say there was work to be done, and no sleeping on the bed that night! Today my clothes line is full of sheets, blanket, mattress pads and pillow cases...and on top of all that ITS GOING TO RAIN.... Happy 6th of July fellow readers!!!!!

Gonna Be a Bear

A dear friend sent this to me and just had to share with all of you...I just thought it was too funny....

In this life I'm a woman. In my next life, I'd like to come back as a bear. When you're a bear, you get to hibernate. You do nothing but sleep for six months. I could deal with that.

Before you hibernate, you're supposed to eat yourself stupid. I could deal with that too.

When your a girl bear, you birth your children,(who are the size of walnuts) while you're sleeping and wake to partially grown, cute, cuddly cubs. I could definitely deal with that.

If you're mama bear, everyone knows you mean business. You swat anyone who bothers your cubs. If your cubs get out of line, you swat them too. I could deal with that.

If you're a bear, your mate EXPECTS you to wake up growling. He EXPECTS that you will have hairy legs and excess body fat.

YUP, gonna be a bear!

Wanna find a Wii?? I found just the place!

I've been looking for a Wii for such a long time now, and every time a store advertises them in stock, when I get there, you guessed it, they are all sold out. I neva had any luck online either unless of course I wanted to buy a "Wii bundle" at a price higher than I wanted to pay. And even they were hard to come by. All I really wanted was the Wii, no games, (I wanted the buy the games I wanted, not what the stores wanted to sell me)Anyway, I found this site ....http://www.nowinstock.net/. I joined and I must say I did miss some of Justin's alerts only because I wasn't online...but in 2 weeks I had my hard to find Wii delivered to my home. I was so thrilled to be able to get it at the regular store price, nothing overinflated, and with very reasonable shipping. My next hard to find purchase is a Wii Fit game and so I emailed Justin to see if they did alerts for them...well, they do, and I'm sure in no time I will be able to find one of those too.....so check out his site for any hard to find game console or game for that matter too...he's a really nice guy and you'll be glad you signed up with him...go here and check out his site. http://www.nowinstock.net/
